Bruce Colan Wilson, 89, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023. He was born on Sept. 16, 1934, in Middlesboro to the late John Thornton and Cora Lee Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Colan was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gibson Wilson; brothers, Curtis Wilson, Charles Wilson, and Vernon Wilson; sisters, Justine Wilson, Edith Turner, Mary Edwards, Omega Branscome, Helen Burkley, Inez Treadway, and Della Mae Medley.

Left to mourn his passing are his two sons, Bruce (Paula) Wilson and Larry Wilson; grandchildren, Erica (Patrick) Moore, Whitney (Matt) Durham, and Jeremy Wilson; grandchildren, David Moore, John Moore, Bo Tucker Durham, Blake Darrell Durham, and Benjamin Durham; brother, Ray Wilson; caregiver and loving companion, Beulah Duffield Morgan as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held Dec. 29 at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
