He was saved and went to his forever home to be in the presence of the Lord. He worked 40 plus years as a mechanic and truck driver for AJJ Trucking. He loved his job, racing and coffee. He also enjoyed people and making them laugh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jimmy Purkey and sister-in-law, Angie Reams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Vicki Purkey Reams

Many very special friends and some special children who were very dear to his heart, Preston, Paxton and Phoenix Dover, Jordan and Josh Hensley, and two little girls who stole his heart, Jenna Hensley and Palmer Gray Ely.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held Sunday June 28th. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:30. The service will be from 4:30-5:00 at the Shawanee Baptist Church Fellowship Hall
