EWING – Dorothy Lee Barnes Johnson, age 85, Ewing, VA passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 27, 1934 in Claiborne Co., TN, the daughter of the late James N and Pearl Mae Barnes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Johnson; her son, Kenny Johnson; brother, James F. Barnes; and sister, Joyce Barnes.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Karen Johnson and Jackie Johnson; her son, Chris Johnson; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Gibson Station Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Preston Smith officiating. Internment will follow in Sayer-McPherson-Gibson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Gibson Station Primitive Baptist Church.
