Happy, healthy monsters were on the loose at Frakes School recently. In preparation for Halloween, FCS Agent Rebecca Miller and Program Assistant Leslie Foster talked to kids in kindergarten- through third-grade about ways to be healthy and safe and read the LEAP book “Happy Healthy Monsters.” Getting plenty of exercise, eating candy in moderation and learning that some candy can look like medicine were some tips given to the children. Students also participated in an activity where they made a monster out of their hand.
