Marsha Bratton, age 85, of Middlesboro, passed away peacefully at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, with her brother by her side.

Born Marsha Ruth Smith in Middlesboro on August 21, 1939, Marsha moved to Michigan shortly after graduating from Middlesboro High School in 1957. Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Mardue Allen Smith; mother, Lillian Littrell; and stepfather, Roy Littrell.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Russell (Rene) Bratton and Charles (Jody) Bratton of Michigan; brother, Dennis Smith of Harrogate, TN; two granddaughters, Elaina (Steven) Grgurich and Katie Lillian Bratton; one great-grandson, Maddox Matthew Grgurich, all of Michigan; and one nephew, Steven Smith, of Jacksboro, TN.

Per Marsha’s request, she was cremated and a private memorial service honoring her life will be held at a later date.
