Slone hits six 3-pointers in 26-point effort as Lions down Whitley

Noah Slone hit six 3-pointers and finished with 26 points as Pineville defeated visiting Whitley County 50-44 in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action Thursday.
Kip Allen scored 16 and Braden Fuston added 11 for the Colonels.
Brennan Lambert and Kyson Thompson each tossed in 13 points and Donnie Maiden added 11 as the Lions won 46-33 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Connor Love paced the Colonels with 11 points.
