Mountain Lions win 13th Region All A title in sixth-grade division

Pineville won the championship of the 13th Region All A Conference Tournament title with wins Saturday over Williamsburg and Jackson County. Pineville rolled past both Williamsburg and Jackson County on Saturday to capture the sixth-grade division of the 13th Region All A Conference Tournament at Williamsburg.
The Mountain Lions downed Williamsburg 52-27 in the semifinals as Kyson Thompson poured in 21 points and Waylon Maiden added 15.
Thompson scored 16 and Brennan Lambert tossed in 10 as the Lions routed Jackson County 48-18 in the championship game.
The 12-1 Mountain Lions travel to Whitley County on Thursday.
