Lady Cats sweep Bobcat Classic, lead 13th Region with 24 wins

The Bell County Lady Cats finished 4-0 on Saturday in the Bobcat Classic with two 2-0 wins over Knox Central, a 2-0 win over Clay County and a 2-1 win over McCreary Central.
Kairi Lamb led the Lady Cats in a win over Knox with 16 kills, four blocks, three digs, two service aces and two assists. Emma Winkler added 12 digs, 12 assists, five kills and one ace. Neveah Allen added eight assists, four digs and one kill. Abbi Middleton added eight digs and five aces.
Lamb had 13 kills in the other win over Knox, along with seven digs, three aces and one block. Winkler had 11 assists, seven digs, three kills and one ace. Alexis Brown added nine digs, two kills, one ace and one assist.
In the win over Clay County, Lamb recorded 21 kills, two digs, one ace and one block. Winkler had 17 assists, five digs and two kills. Middleton added seven digs, three assists and two aces.
Winkler recorded 14 assists, 10 digs and three kills against McCreary Centra. Lamb added 19 kills, seven digs, four blocks and one aces. Middleton had 17 digs, three aces and three assists. Allen added 16 digs, eight assists, three kills and one ace. Brown contributed 15 digs, two kills and one ace.

Bell County claimed a 3-1 Monday at Williamsburg.
Lamb recorded 26 kills, 17 digs and one block to lead the Lady Cats. Brown added 23 digs, two aces and one kill. Allen had 16 digs, 12 assists and four kills. Middleton added 20 digs, three aces, two assists and one kill.

The 25-9 Lady Cats play host to Lynn Camp on Thursday to close the regular season.
