The body of a Bell County man who had been reported as  missing was found by a family friend Monday evening.

The Bell County Sheriff’s Department had sought the public’s assistance earlier on Monday in finding 73-year-old Donnie Fuson. Fuson had last been spoken to on Thursday, June 6 at his residence on Fuson Road off Highway 92..

Bell County Deputy Coroner Jason Steele said Fuson’s body has been sent to Frankfort for autopsy as the investigation is still ongoing as to the cause of death.
