Middlesboro (10-14)  senior Kaylee Lawson gave up only one hit Friday at Corbin but it turned out to be the game-winning single as the Lady Hounds won 1-0 on Kennedie Guiher’s hit.

Lawson struck out two and walked one and allowed only one unearned run in the hard-luck loss.

Keevi Betts’ single was the only hit for the Lady Jackets.
