The Friends of the Shelter “Beastie Bash” is just around the corner. FOS members are pictured with just a few of the items up for grabs at this year’s event.

Seating is limited and tickets are selling fast. Tickets are $30 and must be presented for entry. They can be purchased at Nagle Law Office in Middlesboro, Pizazz Salon in Harrogate, from FOS President Dinah Presnell, or from an FOS member.

Many wonderful items will be offered in both a silent and live auction headed up by Lawrence McGeorge, principal broker and auctioneer for Remax Professionals, licensed across the Tri State. Lawrence keeps the excitement going whether he is auctioning a “year of desserts”, hand knitted items, beautiful jewelry, or a one of a kind piece of art.

The event will take place at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park on Saturday, April 13th. The fun gets underway at 5:30 with the social hour and item viewing. There will be live music, a cash bar, delicious buffet dinner and more.

Proceeds from the event will help with spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines for the shelter pets, purchasing cat litter, toys, and other essential office items such as computers.
