Bell comes back to earn spot in 13th Region semifinals

Bell County overcame a slow start to earn a spot in the 13th Region Tournament semifinals with a four-set victory Saturday over Knox Central  at Lynn Camp High School.

The Lady Cats fell 26-24 in the first set before bouncing back to win 25-11, 25-17, 25-13 in the final three sets.

Bell County will play Whitley County on Monday in the semifinals. Corbin will take on Harlan County in the first semifinal at 6 p.m. The top four teams in the KHSAA RPI ratings made it to the semis with Whitley ranked first, followed by Corbin, Bell County and Harlan County.
