Absentee voting expanded to all voters due to the COVID 19.

All absentee voting has been expanded to ALL voters due to the COVID 19.
The Bell County Board of Election will certify the Absentee Voting machine and begin Absentee Voting for the Primary Election on Monday, June 1, 2020 thru June 22, 2020. Any registered voter that needs to vote absentee may vote at the Bell County Courthouse in Pineville (Old Courthouse), Monday thru Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment. If you utilize in person voting please have your driver’s license ready and please wear a mask. To schedule an appointment please contact the Clerk’s Office at 606-337-6143 or 606-337-6144
Any voter that would like to request an absentee by mail can complete a request form at GoVoteKY.com or contact the Clerk’s office. The last day to request, a ballot by mail is June 15, 2020.
On Election Day, June 23, 2020 from 6:00am to 6:00pm a voting center will be set up at the Middlesboro Community Center, 705 N Petersborough Ave (30th Street), Middlesboro, KY 40965 for any registered voter that wish to cast their ballot in person on Election Day. Please have your driver’s license ready and please wear a mask to speed up the voting process.
Pursuant to KRS 424.130(1) (D), the inspection of the Voting Machines will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Bell County Road Department on Highway 119.
The Primary Election will be held June 23.
