Pineville Seniors on parade
On Sunday, the graduating class from Pineville High School was honored with a parade.
“We were honored to help organize the Pineville High School Parade of Graduates,” said Jacob Roan, director of Main Street Pineville.
Main Street Pineville provided each graduate with a shiny maroon and gold car magnet, while Mayor Scott Madon presented each graduate with an Honorary Mayor certificate and congratulatory letter from Senate Majority Leader U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell.
“The city of Pineville cannot brag enough about the Pineville High School staff who were able to pull off the unforgettable parade. Social distancing and CDC guidelines were adhered to while one of Pineville’s finest classes of young people walked across the stage to receive their diplomas,” Roan explained. “This class has helped Main Street Pineville since they were in middle school and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these Mountain Lions!”
