Have you ever wondered how some people can go through extreme hardships and still praise the Lord through it all? Have you ever wondered how those people can keep getting up, when the enemy continues to knock them down?

It is because they have endured many storms in their lives. Each time we go into the fire with the Lord, we come out the other side even stronger. When we build our lives on the foundation of the Lord, then we will be able to withstand the storms of life.

Psalm 18:2-3 (KJV)

2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

God has helped me through things that I could have never endured on my own. During the hardest battles, my Lord gives me exactly what I need when I need it. He is the solid foundation on which I stand. Therefore, in Him, I have everything that I will ever need.

When I am afraid, my Lord comforts me. When I am weak, He strengthens me. When I am in battle, He protects me. When I don’t know what to do, He leads me. When I am in the midst of uncertainty, He is my certainty.

I am so thankful to know Him and to be loved by Him. God has everything that my soul needs. It is such a blessing to be loved by Him.
