Frank McVey White, age 80, of Lexington, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, April 25, 2020, surrounded by his loving daughters and family members.

Frank was born on October 19, 1939 in Middlesboro, Kentucky.  Frank is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Pat Allen; three daughters, Julia Zuniga of Denver CO, Susanna (Kevin) Suddarth of Albuquerque NM and Tabatha (Ronnie) Allen of Lexington, KY; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; niece, Ann White; nephew, Michael White and great-nephew, Andrew White.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Hubert F. White; mother, Fay Cawood White; brother, Robert C. White and sister in-law, Charlene Minton White.

Frank was a member of Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal, Lexington, KY.  He was an avid UK sports fan and enjoyed golfing.  He graduated from Middlesboro High School and Lincoln Memorial University where he played basketball and baseball for both schools.  He was an inductee into the Middlesboro High School Sports Hall of Fame as well as the Lincoln Memorial University Sports Hall of Fame.  He was also a partner in White Reach Development where he was involved in commercial real estate development in Lexington, KY and surrounding areas.

Frank honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Burial will be in Middlesboro, KY at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal in Lexington, KY, the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choosing.
