The 13th Region All “A” Classic opens tonight at Pineville and it appears to be a three-team race with Williamsburg, Pineville and Jackson County considered the favorites

Williamsburg opens the tournament against Lynn Camp tonight at 6 with Pineville taking on winless Oneida Baptist in the second game.

Defending champ Middlesboro will play Harlan on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in what appears to be the most balanced opening-round matchup. Jackson County will be a big favorite against Red Bird in the nightcap on Tuesday.

The semifinals are set for Thursday at 6 and 7:30, with the championship game set for Friday at 7 p.m. The winner advances to state competition in Richmond.
