Pineville schools swear in special law enforcement officer

Superintendent Russell Thompson and Bell County Clerk Debbie Gambrel recently swore in Randy Clark as the Special Law Enforcement Officer for Pineville Independent Schools. Clark previously worked as the school’s resource officer but has since gone through more intensive training. As a special law enforcement officer, Clark has complete arresting powers and can supervise other officers under the jurisdiction of Pineville schools. The school is taking steps to employ their own police agency.
