At the “Cards XC Challenge” this past Friday, Caden Miracle reeled off another win in the boys varsity cross country race at South Laurel. With his 4th win of the season, Miracle is currently ranked No. 6 in the Class AA rankings. The varsity Bobcats placed 4th overall and continue to improve.

“These guys are all working hard. They are getting better every race. I feel like this is the year we can make it back to state,” said Bell County coach Jason Stewart.

On the girls varsity side, sophomore Jazmine Brannon continued her strong season with a third place finish. “Jazmine is working hard and has turned herself into a top 10 runner in the region. I’m proud of all the work she’s been putting in,” said Stewart.

In middle school action, Hayden Green lead the way placing first overall, followed by Braydin Hickey with a seventh place performance and Landon Eldridge rounding out the Top 25 in 25th place. “These middle school boys continue to impress me. They keep working hard and it’s showing, the latest rankings had them as a Top 25 team in the state, and I think that speaks for itself,” said Stewart.

The elementary boys team placed first overall, winning their sixth meet of the season. Nicholas Stewart lead the way with a first place performance, followed by Elijah Hampton in second, Jacob Brannon sixth, Reese Arno seventh, Tanner Simpson ninth, and Eli Knuckles in 42nd. “All six of these guys bring it every single race. Love seeing all of the hard work they are putting in paying off for them,” said Stewart.
