Southeast holds Quilt of Valor ceremony

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College hosted a Quilt of Valor presentation for Milton Ghigliotty Friday. Ghigliotty, or “Ghig” as he is known by faculty and staff, served in the U.S. Air Force as an armament systems technicians for 22 years. During that time, he was stationed at bases in Florida and Virginia as well as Royal Air Force Alconbury, England, United Kingdom and Kunsan Air Base, Republic of South Korea. He retired as a Technical Sergeant in 2008, and he has worked as an IT coordinator for Southeast since May 2016. A ceremony and reception followed and was held in the Community Room of the Education Alliance Center.
