<p>The Middlesboro Fire Department and their new recruits participated in State Fire and Rescue Training on Wednesday. “It was a good day for training,” MFD Chief Robbie England said. “State Fire and Rescue training our recruits on firefighter survival today.”</p>

<p>Members of the Middlesboro Fire Department and their new recruits wore full fire gear during the State Fire and Rescue Training to fully prepare them for an emergency event. </p>

<p>The stair drill is one of the most strenuous drills performed during State Fire and Rescue Training as firefighters and recruits wear full fire gear including their air tank to run up and down the stairs.</p>
