<p>Photos by Middlesboro Independent Schools</p> <p>On Friday, Middlesboro Police Officer Harvey Johnson and his K-9 partner, Atlas, inspected Middlesboro Middle School following the first full week back to school. According to MMS, no prohibited items were found. The search was performed by the Middlesboro Police Department in an effort to keep the Middlesboro Schools and students safe. Officer Johnson and Atlas will be making regular visits to Middlesboro Middle and the other schools throughout the semester.</p>
