<p>Photos by Middlesboro Main Street</p> <p>Middlesboro Main Street is constantly working to improve the appearance of Cumberland Avenue and Downtown Middlesboro and Saturday was no exception. That morning, a group met with one goal in mind — to clean up as much of downtown Middlesboro as they could. “A big shout out to Lincoln Memorial University students and our Design Committee for doing a Saturday morning clean-up of downtown,” Middlesboro Main Street Director Emily Ayers expressed. Main Street is always looking for ways to get the community involved with their projects, and this is one of the best ways to offer a helping hand. “If you have a group that would like to volunteer on a project, don’t be shy,” Ayers said. “Reach out and let’s keep the Crater clean.”</p>
