Following severe weather Wednesday, the annual Hometown Celebration in Pineville had to be cancelled but that isn’t stopping the fun from going on. The festivities have been rescheduled for Thursday.

“The Patriotic Golf Cart Parade will be held at 6 p.m. along with Main Street Live,” Main Street Pineville Director Jacob Roan said. “David Shoemaker and Chris Minton will begin at 7 p.m., and we are introducing our first ever corn hole tournament.”

“It is $20 per team and first place prize is $150. Second place prize is $50,” Roan explained.

There will be a $100 prize in the golf cart parade as well, and vendors will be open on the square.

“We will have vendors, drinks, and more,” said Roan. “So, come join us for a night of fun on Thursday.”

The festivities will be on Courthouse Square in Pineville.
