Broadhurst, Bradbury earn GCAA/PING All-America honors

NORMAN, Okla. — The Golf Coaches Association of America has named LMU golfers Dan Bradbury and Sam Broadhurst to the Division II PING All-America team.
Broadhurst was tabbed as a first team selection after leading the Railsplitters to a second place finish at the Division II National Championship.
The Nuneaton, England native finished his senior season ranked second nationally, and first in the southeast region with an adjusted scoring average of 71.04. He finished in the top-20 in all 13 tournaments, earning individual medalist honors in four events. For the season, he shot 13 sub-70 rounds and shot par or better in 22 of his 38 rounds played. Broadhurst has also been named to the All-Nicklaus team and was a finalist for the Division II Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year Award.
Bradbury, who will be entering his junior year at Lincoln Memorial, picked up Honorable Mention team honors.
The Yorkshire, England native had five top five tournament finishes during the 2018-19 season, taking first place honors at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate and Bearcat Classic. Bradbury capped off his break out season shooting a four under 68 in the final round of the Division II National Championship match.
For the season Bradbury finished with a 71.74 scoring average, carding ten of his 38 rounds even or under par, and had five top five finishes.
