Carpentry students at the Bell County Vocational School, along with instructor Eric Bowman, recently constructed three sun shades in exercise yards at the Bell County Animal Shelter. With the addition of shade in each yard, dogs will now be able to spend much more time outside each day. The shades were made possible by an inheritance gift to Friends of the Shelter and the volunteer labor provided by the vocational students and instructor.
