Middlesborough Garden Club recently won first place in the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival Parade with their float. The festival logo of Live, Love, Laurel was incorporated into the design. The design team crafted multi-dimensional butterflies, paper flowers, lawn statues and rocks into the float. The highlight of the float were the young beauty queens. These young ladies were Kentucky Mountain Laurel and national titled pageant queens. The Middlesborough Garden Club is always ready to support the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival and other community endeavors to celebrate the region and state.
