Staci Foster’s third grade Arts and Humanities class at Lone Jack School center presented “The Living Wax Museum” to parents and relatives. Students researched famous people of their choices and designed posters and tri-folds exhibiting their research. They used the information they researched to present facts to the audience about the “wax” person they represented. The Wax Museum was demonstrated in the same form as real-life wax museums that tourists visit. In order to speak and rest from their wax positions, an “audio button” had to be pushed, allowing them to speak. Students presented interesting real-life facts about the persons they portrayed. Famous people who were represented included Jackie Kennedy, Muhammad Ali, Dolly Parton, Martin Luther King Jr., Oprah Winfrey, Abraham Lincoln, Audrey Hepburn, Pocahontas, Rosa Parks, George Washington, John F. Kennedy, Neil Armstrong, Harriet Tubman, Hellen Keller, Elvis Presley, Bill Gates and Donald Trump.
