Bell earns first win in 11-1 victory over Lynn Camp

The Bell County Bobcats were able to get into the win column for the first time this season against the Lynn Camp Wildcats on Friday afternoon, downing them 11-1 in five innings.
Prior to the game with Lynn Camp, Bell County had scored a total of eight runs on the season.
In his best game of the season thus far, senior Antonio Zachary pitched all five innings, and was credited with the win. The senior allowed zero runs, zero earned runs, five walks and eight strikeouts on 80 total pitches.
The Bobcats had a good day on the sticks, batting a team average of .476 in the game. Led by Isaac Collett and Ethan Brock with two hits each, Bell County had a total of 10 hits in the game in 21 at-bats.
Zachary, Jacob Smith, Hayden Clark, J.M. Baker, Hunter Clark and Alex Mayes all added one hit each. Collett, Zachary and Mayes had two RBI each.
As a team, the Bobcats stole seven bases in eight attempts, including two stolen bases on two attempts by Brock. The Bobcats only struck out four times during the game and were walked six times, with no players hit-by-pitch.
The Bobcats were slated to take on the Barbourville Tigers last night at home. Lynn Camp goes on spring break and is back in action against Bell County at home on April 8.
