Bell County Indictments

The following individuals were recently indicted by the Bell County Grand Jury:

• Christian Partin, 28, of Pineville, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, persistent felony offender;

• Jason Lee Edward Browning, 39, of Middlesboro, theft by unlawful taking (over $500), two counts of theft by unlawful taking (under $500);

• Derek Dewayne Cox, 34, of Arjay, failure to wear a seat belt, no/expired registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence;

• Candace Renee Ralls, 37, of Middlesboro, first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, persistent felony offender;

• Jason Dewayne Messer, 35, of Arjay, no/expired registration plate, no/expired registration receipt, failure of non-owner/operator to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to or improper signal, no operator’s license, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (greater than 2 grams, methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first- and third-degree trafficking a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, persistent felony offender;

• Lisa Ann Partin, 51, of Middlesboro, theft by unlawful taking (under $500), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal trespass;

• James H. Warren, 40, of Ashland, intimidating a participant in legal process, persistent felony offender;

• Jeffery B. Holland, 55, of Pineville, first-degree assault, persistent felony offender.
