<p>Photos by Ray Welch | Middlesboro Daily News</p> <p>On Saturday, the Middlesboro Mall was transformed to Seussville to welcome the community to the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss during the Eighth Annual Read Across America presented by the Children’s Reading Foundation-Appalachia.</p>

<p>Participants from various educational partners, local businesses and community agencies joined together Saturday to celebrate Dr. Seuss Day at the Middlesboro Mall and encourage families to pick up a book and read to a child.</p>

<p>Debbie Knuckles, Executive Director of CRFA, extends a thank you to all who came out and participated with Read Across America and looks forward to even more community participation next year.</p>
