A man who was released on bond on Christmas found himself in trouble again just days later.

Derrick Allen Jennings, 29, of Louisville, was arrested Sunday by Middlesboro Police Officer Michael Bradley and charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and criminal trespassing second degree.

A Walmart loss prevention officer reported to Bradley that Jennings concealed $119.65 worth of merchandise inside a backpack and then left the store.

A no trespassing notice is in effect by Walmart against Jennings that stems from an incident that occurred in 2009.

Jennings was arrested and taken to the Bell County Detention Facility. He was released after posting a $2,500 cash bond.

On Dec. 16, Officer Joel Quillen arrested Jennings for his alleged involvement in a burglary in Middlesboro.
