Regent Nancy Britton of the Major George Gibson Chapter NSDAR recently delivered 30 Christmas gift bags for veterans to Mountain Home, Tennessee where they were received by Chief Mike Kromoff, director of volunteer services. The bags were displayed at the chapter Christmas Tea prior to delivery to Mountain Home and contained throws, crocheted caps, socks, flags, puzzle books, coloring books with color pencils, pens, mechanical pencils, snacks, and various other items collected by members throughout the year.

This year’s Christmas Tea was again hosted by Agnes Marcum with co-hosts Sharon Harrell, Fay Ramsey, and Myra Richardson. Others present were Charlotte Brooks, Andrea Cheak, Judy Hounshell, Linda Lawson, Susan Parker, Rebecca Royal, Augusta Sinon, and Manerva Watson. The tea’s musical theme included Christmas songs, gifts and prizes, food and fellowship.
