HMS captures Sixth Grade Showcase title

Students from across Harlan and Bell counties recently gathered at James A. Cawood Elementary for the 2018 Governor’s Cup Sixth Grade Showcase competition.

Harlan Middle School captured the section 34 Sixth Grade Showcase overall title with 64.5 points. Wallins edged out Rosspoint for second place with 32 points. James A. Cawood finished fourth, while Stinnett and Black Mountain took fifth and sixth respectively.
