Christy Blevins from the Bell County Extension office conducted a program called Organwise for Lone Jack School Center’s first, second and third grade classes. Blevins taught the students about the different organs in the body and the function of each one. She also stressed the importance of how eating different foods can make the organs healthier for the body. The children answered review questions about the organs amazingly well.
