Times set for UK basketball schedule

Tickets for this year’s Big Blue Madness will go on sale at 10 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Memorial Coliseum ticket off on the Avenue of Champions. Tickets also will be online at Ticketmaster.

Big Blue Madness is set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 at Rupp Arena and will be the first chance for fans to see the men’s and women’s basketball teams this season and there will be a limit of four tickets per person. Online orders will feature a minimal fee and all duplicate orders will automatically be canceled.

A limited number of control cards will be issued to campers at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28 and those fans will receive a maximum of four tickets per card. Fans who obtain control cards are urged to line up by 8:30 p.m. and only one control card per person will be accepted at the ticket distribution.

Fans wishing to line up ahead of time at Memorial Coliseum and camp out for tickets are asked to do so no earlier than 5 p.m. on Sept. 26.

The campsites are limited to the following areas.

• The southeastern portion of the main entrance of Memorial Coliseum

• Along the east side of Memorial Coliseum and the Joe Craft Center

• Along the east entrance of the main entry way of the Craft Center

· A designated section of the College View Lot (between Wildcat Coal Lodge and Rose Street)

Every Kentucky game, including Pro Day on Oct. 7 will be televised this season. Games will be televised on the SEC Network, ESPN and CBS. Kentucky’s opener against Duke will be televised on ESPN with a 9:30 p.m. tipoff at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The team’s contest against North Carolina on Dec. 22 will be at 5:15 p.m. on CBS. The Jan. 26 contest against Kansas in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge will be at 6 p.m. and shown on ESPN or ESPN2.
