Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) kicked off new student orientation and Welcome Weekend with a Matriculation Ceremony to mark the start of their journey toward graduation in Tex Turner Arena. “We want you to feel like you are part of this community, a community that supports you and lifts you up to new levels,” said LMU President Clayton Hess. Welcome Weekend is designed to help new students get acquainted with campus and college life. Undergraduate classes began Aug. 13.
