The Family Resource Youth Service Center handed out school supplies that Northstar Church from Knoxville, Tennessee donated. Lone Jack Faculty and Staff would like to thank the community partners who helped make the Readifest a huge success.

Community partners spoke with parents and provided information on how they can support families to make students successful in school. These include Casey Martin from Commercial Bank, Christy Blevins from the Bell County Extension Office, Debra Hampton from the Prevention Center, the new dentist representing Lone Jack, Dr. Audrey Kinder from Dr. Woolum & Dixon’s office (sponsored by Elgin Dental), Dulcena Fuson representing the school’s PTSA, Kaylynn Gibson-Warwick, the school nurse, and Johanna Williams from Cumberland River Comprehensive Care. Eden Beauty Institute of Middlesboro also donated certificates for free haircuts.
