Post 10 to set up check points in Bell Co.

Published 2:28 pm Tuesday, August 14, 2018

Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan just released information about traffic stops they will be holding in various areas of their jurisdiction.

They stated that troopers will be checking for impaired motorists, that children are properly secured in the correct safety seats and to inform drivers of about the use of seat belts.

These stops will not be random, either. They were chosen because they tend to have a higher rate of crashes and collisions that result in injury and death compared “to relatively low safety restraint usage ratio.”
