MANCHESTER — he Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that KY 92 at milepoint 1 in Bell County will be reduced to one lane beginning May 14, and is expected to conclude on May 28. Work times will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The lane closure will be controlled by flaggers.
The lane closure is necessary due to culvert repair operations. KYTC District 11 crews will be excavating a 60-foot section of the roadway, removing a failed culvert pipe, and building back the roadway embankment with free draining aggregate to correct settlement issues in the roadway.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
