An impressive night for Pineville’s Clay Goodin wasn’t enough when the Mountain Lions traveled to Berea on Monday. After picking up a win over the weekend, Pineville dropped a 70-63 loss to the Pirates.

In a losing effort, the Lions put up the most points they have scored all season. Goodin was at the forefront of that effort finishing the game with a team-high 14 points while shooting 50 percent from the field. He also brought down a team-high six rebounds.

Josh Lawson added 12 points to the scoreboard while also shooting the ball at a 50 percent clip. Ben Goodin was perfect from the field en route to a 10-point outing. He went 4-for-8 from the charity stripe.
