Lawson is one of a few seniors that return to the Pineville boys basketball team for the 2017-18 campaign. Those seniors, along with the rest of the Mountain Lions were recognized during the event on Tuesday. The Lions ran through multiple drills before briefly scrimmaging each other.</p>

<p>The Pineville High School cheerleaders were introduced during Meet the Lions on Tuesday. Those on the team include, in no order: Morgan Goodin, Jayden Sizemore, Maggie Smith, Sarah Elliott, Reece Foley, Elayne Fortner, Jenah Helton, Faith Long, Hannah Robbins, Mackenzie Bowles, Hannah Daniels, Lillie Kelley, Gabby Patterson, Allie Browning, Marissa Ferguson, Anna Howard and Olivia Webb. The head coach is Tammy Jones.</p>
