Main Street Pineville kicked off its newly added fall and winter concert series on Saturday, as well-known southern rock group, The Steel Woods, hit the stage of the historic Bell Theater.

Many would agree that the group was an impressive choice to begin the series with, considering that they have recently managed to land a spot on the Rolling Stone’s list of the top 10 up-and-coming country artists.

Several other well-established artists plan to grace the stage in the upcoming months, as the event continues to grow and flourish into something many hope will become a year-round event, making the Bell Theater the premier entertainment venue in the region.

The series is scheduled to continue on Dec. 15, with Kentucky native singer-songwriter Chris Knight. Tickets are currently available for sale on the Main Street Pineville website.
