Symphony of the Mountains to perform in Pound, Virginia

Symphony of the Mountains will be presented on Sunday at the Performing Arts Center in Pound, Virginia.
Symphony of the Mountains will return to Southwest Virginia to present a concert entitled Kaleidoscope Oct. 1. The concert is at 3 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Pound, Virginia.
The program will feature pianist Steve Sensenig and harpist Cindy Hicks. Music showcases selections from George Gershwin: “Rhapsody in Blue,” Richard Strauss: “Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare,” Gabriel Pierne: “Konzertsteuck, Op 39,” and Ottorino Respighi: “Pines of Rome.”
Admission is $20 and free to students. Pro-Art season tickets are also accepted. UVa-Wise students may receive cultural credit for attending.
